United Airlines says operations praised in survey

Global frequent business and luxury travelers praised United Airlines’ operations and loyalty programs in 2016, according to a survey.

The monthly magazine Global Traveler surveyed readers through subscriber questionnaires in 80 travel-related categories from Jan. 1 to Aug. 31, 2016, as it has yearly since 2004, according to its website.

United’s loyalty program, MileagePlus, was lauded with “best overall frequent flier program” for the 13th consecutive year, according to a statement from the airline, which is the dominant carrier at Bush Intercontinental Airport.
