D’Amico’s adds liquor to its lineup

It’s a new year for us all, and a new day at D’Amico’s Italian Market Café.

After 20 years in the business, the popular Rice Village restaurant specializing in Northern and Southern Sicilian cuisine now has full bar service. Yes, you can get a martini with your Rigatoni Carmine; a Manhattan with your Tortellini Genovese.

In addition to classic cocktails, there’s a new bar menu with a half dozen Italian-inspired signature drinks such as the Amalfi Cooler (gin, Aperol, blood orange liqueur and lemon juice), Limoncello Collins (Hendrick’s gin, limoncello, simple syrup and fresh basil leaves) and the Mellow Mela ( Jack Daniel’s, Cynar, lemon juice, apple cider and simple syrup).

Maybe it’s time to start your year in good spirits by saying cheers to the new cocktail list at D’Amico’s, which shared the recipe for one of its new drinks.
