3 dead, 2 critical in shooting at home in Manvel

Brazoria County patrol units on Sunday found three people dead and two others critically wounded from apparent gunshot wounds in Manvel.

The Brazoria County Sheriff ’s Office arrived around 1:30 a.m. to the 200 block of Oak Shore Drive, where dispatch received a call from a man who said he had shot his wife.

The deputies found a 28-year-old man, a 30-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman dead at the scene from gunshot wounds. They also discovered a 36-year-old woman who had been shot in the head. She was transported by helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition.

Another wounded woman, 43, shot in the abdominal area, was taken to Ben Taub Hospital, also in critical condition.

The Brazoria County Sheriff ’s Office said it is not releasing the names of the victims until notifying family members.
