RONALD BRUCE AUSTIN, SR.

1930-2017

Ronald B. Austin, Sr. passed away on Thursday January 19th, 2017 in Humble, Texas. He was a devoted husband and father and a friend to many. He is survived by his Wife, Elizabeth; both Sons, Bruce and Kevin; Daughter, Amanda; Grandkids, Katie and Tommy; Brother Wayne; Sister Shirley and many nieces and nephews.

Born in Chestnut, Louisiana in 1930. Served in the Army during Korea. Married and soon moved to Houston to work for ILA Local 1273 and Southern Stevedoring at the Port of Houston. Retired after 45 years in 2000. Houston Shriner and Scottish rite Mason. Lifelong hunter, fisherman and overall outdoorsman. Loved and respected by all who knew him and will be sorely missed. Services are as follows: Kingwood Texas Visitation Monday January 23, 2017 from 5 to 9 pm at Kingwood Funeral Home.
