CYCLING

Cypress Kids Bike Ride will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, starting at 14234 W. Cypress Forest Dr. This is a casual-paced bike ride for kids and adults along the Cypresswoo­d Bike Path. Mash The Woodlands is being hosted by The Woodlands Bike Social beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday at Sammy’s Sports Grill and Bar, 709 Riley Ruzzel Road, in Spring. Diva Dash 5K & Lil’ Princess Girls Run Houston starts at 8 a.m. Saturday at the Pearland Town Center, corner of Texas 288 and FM 518. Girls ages 8 and under who participat­e in this 50- to 200-yard fun run based on age will receive a T-shirt, custom bib, tiara and Lil’ Princess medal. Run of Pi at Lynn Eusan Park begins at 8 a.m. Saturday at Lynn Eusan Park on the University of Houston main campus. The event supports Houston area STEM programs. Instead of the typical 5K road race (3.10 miles), the course will be extended four-hundredths of a mile to 3.14 miles to debut the “Run of Pi.” The elementary, middle and high school teams with the most registered participan­ts will be awarded a grant to support an existing STEM program at their respective school.
