Patrick Thompson Webb, Jr., age 24, lost his life in a tragic automobile accident early in the morning of February 25 in Leander, Texas. A celebration of Patrick’s life will be held Monday, March 6, at 10:00 a.m. at Chapelwood United Methodist Church, 11140 Greenbay St, Houston, Texas 77024.
Patrick was born on January 25, 1993 in Corpus Christi, Texas to proud parents Patrick and Michelle Webb. Patrick had many interests in life. He learned to love the outdoors from his participation in Boy Scouts with his father. He played soccer, but tennis became his passion as soon as he was introduced to it on a family vacation to San Miguel De Allende. He loved both saltwater and freshwater fishing. He liked working on cars with his high school buddies. He loved his dogs, Chubby and Zorro.
In Spring 2011 he graduated from Archway Academy, and that fall he attended Texas Tech University. After college he excelled at a variety of trades. He became a certified welder, he installed floral designs for large events and worked in sales at Collectors Firearms.
Patrick had a very determined nature. He had an uncanny ability to connect with people through his wonderful sense of humor. Many of his friends may find reassurace in the knowledge that Patrick was so happy with his life in recent months. He had a wonderful relationship with his girlfriend, Angeline Hoyle, who also lost her life in this tragic accident.
Patrick is survived by his mother, Michelle Webb; sister, Madeleine Webb; father, Patrick Webb Sr. and stepmother, Martha Webb; grandparents, Mary L. Webb, Chris and Margaret Herbert, Mike and Marilyn Flood; great aunt, Liz Sefcik; uncles and aunts, Ben and Joni Webb, Kirk and Shannon Webb, Marc and Marilyn Flood, and Emily Flood; cousins, Elisabeth Webb, Caroline and Wills Webb, Morgan, McKenna and Mason Flood; and many more extended family members.
