Eunice Martin Webster went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 7, 2017.

Eunice was born April 6, 1934, in Silsbee, Texas, to Ben D., and Lou Rita Smith. Eunice was the youngest child and only daughter with eight brothers. Eunice was valedictor­ian of her Silsbee High School class. She married Jerry Martin on December 19, 1953. In the years following his death, Eunice married Col. Don Webster on March 24, 2001.

Eunice worked as a real estate broker and was a noted member of the Duffy & LaRoe Realtors and Mooreland Properties teams. Her calling cards were honesty and trust; she had a wide following among clients.

Eunice was known to all as an avid athlete and athletic enthusiast. She played tennis, attended the US Open for 21 years and enjoyed cheering for collegiate and profession­al sports. She will be forever remembered for her dedication to all UT sports and her love of the San Antonio Spurs.

Most importantl­y, Eunice will be remembered as a fiercely loving wife, mother, grandmothe­r, greatgrand­mother, and friend to many. Eunice carried herself through the sunshine and storms of life with class; she never complained and always talked about the good times, and all the good times to come. She had a strong sense of humor and an infectious smile.

Eunice is preceded in death by husband, Jerry Martin; husband, Col. Don Webster; her parents; and seven brothers.

Eunice is survived by brother, Rev. Eddis Smith of Silsbee, Texas; daughters, Jerrilyn Rheman and husband, Bobby of Katy, Texas, Leeanna Clark DeHerrera and husband, Brian, of Littleton, Colorado and Libby Nitschke and husband, Randy of Columbus, Texas; her pride and joy - twelve grandchild­ren, Joel Rheman and wife Amy, Casey Rheman, Luke Rheman, Carly Fisher and husband, Jonathon, Jamie Rheman, Adriennne Ireland and husband, Sam, Philip Clark, Abbi Bay and husband, Nick, Taylor DeHerrera, Amber DeHerrera, Keslee Wilhite and husband, David, Kylee Nitschke; and greatgrand­children, Jackson Rheman, Hailey Rheman, Emmi Ireland, Eric Ireland and Caleb Wilhite.

A Visitation will be held at 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. A Funeral Service honoring Eunice’s life will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, March 13, 2017, at The Lakeway Church, officiated by Rev. Brent Graham. A Graveside Service will follow at 4:00 P.M., Monday, March 13, 2017, at Magnolia Cemetery in Katy, Texas, with Rev. Pat Sparks officiatin­g.
