Treemont redecorates dining room
Treemont Retirement Community is Houston’s “Retirement Tradition,” being among the first senior living communities in Houston, developed about 40 years ago.
It is a testimony to the long-tenured, caring staff that fosters a cozy atmosphere that this continuing care retirement community has served multiple generations of Houstonians.
Treemont has been getting an update in recent years, starting with the renovation of Building A and now moving to a complete remodel of the Treemont dining room.
The remodel has been guided by Casey Brand of Cassandra Brand Interiors. The original brass chandeliers were refurbished by sanding and repainting them from silver to a bronze color.
New LED energy-saving lights were installed to give the dining room a special glow.
To the delight of residents, the dining room was painted in a warm gray Oyster White with a Westhighland White and Jogging Path trim and with accented colors for the molding.
The classic walnut wood chairs have been sanded, refurbished and reupholstered in a blue color to match the new color design.
The finishing touch was the installation of a wood floor that gives the dining room a “country club” feel.
“I am delighted with the new dining room and pleased that management continues to enhance the community. Treemont is a wonderful place to live and the new dining room remodel makes for a more enjoyable ambience,” resident Margaret Sojka said.
The community is invited to visit and see the transformed Treemont dining room. Call Lupe or Linda at 713-783-6820 to schedule a lunch and a tour.
Treemont is located in the Memorial area, about 4 miles west of the Galleria, near Westheimer and Gessner.
