IRVINE, Calif. — John King tossed his third complete game in four starts, Connor Wong went 4-for-5 with an RBI, and the University of Houston beat UC Irvine 7-3 on Sunday to complete a three-game sweep and stretch its winning streak to 10 games.
King allowed three runs (two earned) on seven hits and three walks to improve to 4-0 for the Cougars (18-5).
