Curry, Warriors rally past Spurs
SAN ANTONIO — Stephen Curry scored 29 points, Klay Thompson had 23, and the Golden State Warriors rallied from a 22-point deficit in the opening quarter to beat the San Antonio Spurs 110-98 on Wednesday night for their ninth straight win.
Golden State extended its lead over San Antonio to 3½ games for the league’s best record, beating the Spurs for the first time in three meetings this season.
Kawhi Leonard had 19 points and five assists for San Antonio. Leonard shot 7-for-20 from the field while being guarded by a rotation of defenders. The Spurs had a five-game winning streak halted.

Russell Westbrook scored 36 of his 57 points after halftime and had 13 rebounds and 11 assists for his 38th triple-double of the season to help Oklahoma City clinch a playoff spot in the Western Conference with an overtime win at Orlando
Westbrook, a leading MVP candidate, led the Thunder from behind by as many as 21 points in the second half. And like the 13-point outburst in the final three minutes against Dallas on Monday night for the win, Westbrook was again the catalyst as he hit big shots in the fourth quarter, including the tying 3-pointer with 7.1 seconds remaining to force the extra period.
Enes Kanter added 17 points and 10 rebounds off the bench for the Thunder, and Victor Oladipo had 13 points while returning to Amway Center for the first time since being traded by the Magic last June.
Evan Fournier finished with 24 points, and Terrence Ross added 23 for the Magic.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had 22 points and nine rebounds, and Milwaukee knocked host Boston out first place in the Eastern Conference.
Boston had won four in a row. The loss put the Celtics back in second in the East, percentage points behind idle Cleveland.

Mike Conley matched his career high with seven 3-pointers on his way to 36 points, helping Memphis rout visiting Indiana.
Vince Carter had 21 points and eight rebounds, and Zach Randolph finished with 17 points as Memphis snapped a four-game losing streak. Conley went 13-for-21 from the field.

Anthony Davis had 30 points and 13 rebounds, DeMarcus Cousins added 29 points and 16 rebounds in his return from a twogame absence because of a right ankle sprain, and host New Orleans beat Dallas.
