Correa clearly feeling better
After missing the previous two games with an upper-respiratory illness, Carlos Correa returned to the Astros’ lineup Thursday and hit his seventh
home run as part of a 3-for-4 night.
“I feel a lot better,” he said after pregame batting practice. “The headache
has faded. I’m just ready to go back out there.”
Correa said Wednesday he began feeling sick Sunday and complained of headaches and shortness of breath. He said he spent most of Tuesday and Wednesday resting and felt better when he woke up Thursday.
“We checked in with him this morning, and he felt better and better,” Astros manager A.J. Hinch said before Thursday’s game. “He was bouncing around like normal.”
