When/where: 7:30 p.m. Friday, Crosby This is Game 2 of a best-ofthree series between the area’s top two 6A baseball teams with a trip to the state tournament on the line. Game 3, if necessary, will be played at 3 p.m. Saturday at Crosby.
Brenham vs. Port Neches-Groves
When/where: 2p.m. Saturday, Sam Houston State This is Game 2 of a best-ofthree 5A regional final. Game 3, if necessary, will be played 30 minutes afterward
7-on-7 state qualifying tournament
When/where: Friday, The Woodlands Area high school teams continue qualifying for the state Division I 7-on-7 football tournament. Division II qualifying continues Saturday at the Houston Sports Park. State tournaments are scheduled for June 29 to July 1 at College Station.
