Warriors at Cavaliers

When: 8 p.m. Friday TV: ABC A Cleveland victory keeps alive its ultra-slim hopes of upsetting Golden State in the NBA Finals for the second consecutiv­e season. But considerin­g how the Warriors stole Game 3 with a late comeback on Wednesday night, the Cavaliers may be too demoralize­d to mount much of a threat in Game 4.

Penguins at Predators

When: 7 p.m. Sunday TV: NBC Not many thought Nashville would have a chance to play a third home game in its Stanley Cup Final debut. But here the Predators are in Game 6.

French Open finals

When: Saturday, Sunday TV: NBC There will be a first-time Grand Slam champion on the women’s side after the title match beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday. The men’s champion will be crowned after the title match beginning at 8 a.m. Sunday.

United States at Mexico

When: 7:30 p.m. Sunday TV: FS1 To remain in the thick of contention in the final round of World Cup qualifying, the U.S. men’s national soccer team likely needed three points vs. Trinidad and Tobago on Thursday night in Denver. It would be extraordin­ary for them to gain points in Mexico City, where the United States has won once in 22 matches.

St. Jude Classic

When: Friday-Sunday TV: Golf Channel (Friday), CBS (Saturday, Sunday) For those PGA Tour players who need a final-tune up before next week’s U.S. Open, this is their chance at TPC Southwind in Memphis.

Axalta “We Paint Winners” 400

When: 2 p.m. Sunday TV: FS1 The Monster Energy Cup NASCAR series continues at Pocono. Kurt Busch won at the Pennsylvan­ia track last year.

ANGELS AT ASTROS

1 When: 7:10 p.m. Friday TV: Root The Astros return home from their longest road trip of the season to face one of the teams desperate to close the gap in the AL West. Unfortunat­ely for the Angels, they are without Mike Trout for at least another month. Root also will carry games at 3:10 p.m. Saturday and 1:10 p.m. Sunday.

Tigers at Red Sox

When: 7:05 p.m. Sunday TV: ESPN Both teams are contending in their divisions, Boston with the Yankees and Orioles in the AL East and Detroit with the Twins and Indians in the AL Central.

NCAA Track & Field Championsh­ips

When: 7:30 p.m. Friday TV: ESPN This is the final day of men’s competitio­n in Eugene, Ore. Texas A&M is looking for a rare sweep of national titles after winning the indoor championsh­ip this year. The Aggies are ranked first in the nation.

A Football Life: Eric Dickerson

10 When: 9 a.m. Friday TV: NFL Network A documentar­y on the life and career of the former SMU/NFL running back from Sealy will be followed at 10 a.m. by one on ex-TCU and NFL running back LaDainian Tomlinson, a member of this year’s Pro Football Hall of Fame class..
