Frank J. Nicoletti, 88, of Cypress, TX passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, June 9, 2017. Frank was born on March 20, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY to parents Francesco and Graziella Nicoletti.

He began his 44-year career at the Internatio­nal General Electric Company in New York City at age 16. He began in the mailroom and was soon promoted to the sales department where he went on to travel extensivel­y to Europe, Central and S. America. While with GE he was transferre­d to the Washington, DC GSA division focusing on domestic contracts for 10 years. His career then took him to GE headquarte­rs in Lousiville, KY and then to Houston where he has resided the last 35 years. Frank was always the ‘life of the party’ and made many life-long friends over the years. After retiring, he began his second career with Sears Contract Sales for the next 11 years.

Frank will be best remembered by his family and friends as a lover of tropical fish, a good cigar, a Columbo mystery, beachcombi­ng and his “Jack Benny” humor.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley, mother of surviving children, Gayle & husband Clark Chelsey, Joyce & husband Tony Bendana, Frank Jr. & wife Patty Nicoletti. He was also preceded by in death by his sister Catherine. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Betty and her daughter Alissa & husband Max Dingler; grandchild­ren, Nicole, Gabriellla and Anthony Bendana; Julian Chelsey; and Ashley Dingler as well as many nieces and nephews.

Frank was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30AM, Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Prince of Peace Catholic Community, 19222 Tomball Pkwy, Houston, TX 77070.
