Now that Pittsburgh Steelers rookie linebacker T.J. Watt has signed his four-year, $9.258 million contract that included a $4.873 million signing bonus, he can afford to buy his famous big brother a big, juicy steak.

Texans star defensive end J.J. Watt is looking forward to having T.J. Watt pick up the tab at a few dinners when he and brother Derek Watt, a Los Angeles Chargers fullback, return to Wisconsin for workouts prior to reporting to training camp in July.

“I think it’s awesome,” JJ. Watt said. “We’ll go back to our hometown, and we’ll have dinner with our high school football coach, and we’ll have dinner with our trainer and all these people that have watched us grow up since we were little, little kids and now they get to see us on the biggest stage. I think it’s really special, and it’s his turn to buy dinner, so I can’t wait for him to buy them all. That’s probably the best part of it all, to be honest with you.”

The Texans host the Steelers on Christmas Day at NRG Stadium in a Monday night game.

T.J. Watt was drafted 30th overall in the first round out of Wisconsin.

“He’s excited, man,” J.J. Watt said. “It’s so cool. He’s enjoying it. Obviously he’s got a firstclass football city up there with the Steelers and their history and their tradition. He’s got a guy like James Harrison to learn from.

“It’s really exciting, and for all three of us now to be able to go back to Wisconsin — and we’ve all done our OTAs with our teams — and be able to talk about some of our experiences and train together and work together, it’s really special. It’s really cool.”
