Priorities

Regarding “Trump bars transgender individuals from U.S. armed forces” (Chron. com, Wednesday), I totally support this and am very proud of President Trump for having the courage to go against the so called progressive ideology that is permeating every aspect of our society.

If you want to change genders, do it before or after you serve in the military. We have homeless vets and vets dying waiting to see a doctor. We do not have money to spend on gender reassignment nor should our military’s missions be diluted with social issues.

I know the backlash from the left and the Trump haters is going to be loud and hateful, but I support this decision 100 percent. Gayla Logan, posted via Facebook

Discriminatory

This is just another distraction that will get smacked down by the U.S. Supreme Court of the United States.

It is unconstitutional regardless of your opinions we have already been over this. Tom Johnson, posted via Facebook

Weak decision

Don’t mistake this action for courage. Please refer to his previous tweets about supporting the LGBTQ community. He hasn’t been consistently courageous about any issue, as far as I can determine. Bradley Carpenter, posted via Facebook
