Skeeters rally at Long Island

Josh Prince had three hits including a home run as Sugar Land overcame a four-run deficit to defeat Long Island 5-4 in an Atlantic League game at Central Islip, N.Y.

Prince’s two-run homer in the sixth cut the Ducks’ lead to 4-2. With the game tied at 4 in the ninth, Travis Scott’s sacrifice fly scored Derek Miller with the go-ahead run. Scott Maine (1-1) picked up the win with a scoreless inning of relief. Rice University product David Aardsma (1-1) took the loss.
