Arlane Eidson Wright, a resident of the Georgetown, Texas area, passed away Friday the 28th of July at Saint David’s Georgetown Hospital.

Born March 10, 1940 in Houston, Texas, daughter of Lewis Wesley Eidson and Darlane Metzler Eidson. She grew up in Denver Harbor, Texas, later moving and then graduating from Lamar High School. During her formative years she proudly served as a Rainbow Girl which is a Masonic Youth Service Organizati­on. Later as an adult, she attended Houston Baptist College earning a nursing degree, where she applied her craft over fifteen years providing loving care for many.

Arlane was an involved mother participat­ing in school activities including the PTA, as well as serving as the den mother of her son’s Boy Scout Troup. She had a passion for cooking, always showing off her extraordin­ary culinary gift by creating gourmet meals and baking delightful desserts for her friends and family.

She enjoyed crafts, creating festive party venues, keepsakes, and costumes. Her friendline­ss and outgoing personalit­y made it easy to know and love her. Arlane was generous with her time and talents. It was always her pleasure to help organize special events and holiday parties with her many Parkwood Meadow friends in Georgetown, Texas.

She is survived by three sons, seven grandchild­ren, five great grandchild­ren, a sister, a niece, two uncles, one aunt and several cousins; son Louis Michael Wright and partner Paul Jose of Los Angeles, CA; son Jeffrey Scot Wright and wife Stephanie of Walburg, TX, grandchild­ren Jeremy Smith, Stacey Gamboa (husband Josh, children Silver Galvan & Jack Johnston), Ashley Wright (children Jacob & Joshua), Kimberly Wright (child Gwendolyn), and Jeffrey Wright; son Roger Lane Wright and wife Cathy of Flower Mound, TX, grandchild­ren Brooke Marie and Rachel Lane, sister Darla Musgrove of Bryan, TX, niece Jennifer Biles of Houston, TX, uncle John Metzler of Houston, TX, uncle Toby Metzler of Lovelady, TX, aunt Eddie Mae Newman of Red Oak, TX.
