Gray loses 2nd start in N.Y.

TORONTO — Marco Estrada and two relievers combined on a six-hitter, Jose Bautista hit a solo home run, and Toronto beat New York 4-0 on Thursday night.

Estrada (5-7) pitched seven innings to win for the first time in 13 starts. The righthande­r came in 0-5 with a 7.39 ERA since beating Texas on May 27.

Bautista hit a two-out drive off Chasen Shreve in the seventh. It was his 36th career homer against New York, breaking a tie with Tampa Bay’s Evan Longoria for the most by an active player.

Making his second start for New York, Sonny Gray (6-7) allowed three runs, two of them earned, in six innings. He walked four and struck out six. Acquired from Oakland at the trade deadline, Gray lost at Cleveland in his Yankees debut.

New York put at least one runner in scoring position in five of Estrada’s seven innings, but couldn’t break through against the veteran righthande­r.

Aaron Judge has struck out at least once in 27 straight games, the longest streak in Yankees history.

RAYS 4, INDIANS 1: Corey Dickerson’s three-run homer in the eighth carried Tampa Bay to a win over visiting Cleveland.

METS 10, PHILLIES 0: New York’s Jacob deGrom pitched brilliantl­y until leaving in the seventh due to injury, and the Mets homered four times in a rout of host Philadelph­ia.

PIRATES 7, TIGERS 5: Rookie Josh Bell hit his 20th home run of the season and drove in three runs, leading Pittsburgh to a victory at Detroit.

REDS 10, PADRES 3: Scooter Gennett hit a grand slam in the seventh, ending lefthander Brad Hand’s long scoreless streak and rallying Cincinnati to a win over visiting San Diego.
