ALLEN JOHN “AJ” WEISBERGER

AJ passed away Friday, the 8th of September 2017, in Houston, TX. AJ was born on the 31st of October 1991. He graduated Brewster Academy, Wolfboro, NH in 2010 where he was a volunteer for Rosie’s Place and the New Hampshire Wolfboro Food Pantry. He was a member of the Junior Rodeo Committee of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. He attended the University of Arkansas and is a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity where he was involved with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. AJ was an avid alpine skier and he loved to go hunting and fishing. AJ will be remembered for his people skills, diverse friendship­s, being a hard worker, always seeing the positive in everything, being dependable, easy going and for his huge smile and infectious laugh. AJ was always willing and able to help with anything and everything.

He is predecease­d by John L. Skalla, grandfathe­r and leaves behind his parents Mark Jackson and Camille Skalla Weisberger, his brothers Mark Jackson “Jack” Weisberger, Jr. and Matthew Joseph “Matt” Weisberger all of Houston; love of his life Jaclyn Laray Adams and newborn Grayson Allen; loving grandparen­ts Allene Davison Skalla of Houston, Joseph Gilbert and Nina Hosey Weisberger of Marvell, AR; Aunts and Uncles Joseph Gilbert and Debra Trehern Weisberger, Jr., Johnette Skalla and Terrell O. Taylor, Jr. all of Houston, TX; Cousins Joseph Gilbert Weisberger, III. of Philiadelp­hia, PA, Jessica Ryan Weisberger of Phoenix, AZ and Terrell Orman “Trey” Taylor, III., of Houston; and his adoring and loyal pets Bear, Kilo and Ray.

Friends are cordially invited to gather with the family and share remembranc­es of AJ from six o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening on Thursday, the 14th of September, in the grand foyer of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.

The memorial service is to be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, the 15th of September, at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, 717 Sage Road in Houston, where the Rev. Martin J. Bastian, Vice Rector, and the Rev. Johnathan V. Adams, Associate for Pastoral Care and Outreach, are to officiate. Immediatel­y following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception to be held in the adjacent Bagby Parish Hall.
