Love where you live

-

The Village of River Oaks, Houston’s new premier retirement community, announces that its license has been approved to accept residents into its Assisted Living and Memory Care communities.

Assisted living services provide compassionate care tailored to individual needs. The community focuses on wellness with respect for individual preferences. Service plans are created with the appropriate level of support while fostering independence. The professional staff also can suggest specific programs to help regain or improve independence.

Memory care residents live in their own private or semi-private apartment homes with personal walk-in showers and plenty of space to allow families to decorate with cherished items and memorabilia to create all the comforts of home.

Staff is trained to get to know each resident on a personal level so that every day is filled with activities that celebrate each resident’s own lifetime achievements, successes and accomplishments.

A custom dining experience is created for each person, with individualized assistance to help maintain their independence for as long as possible.

The Village of River Oaks’ commitment to individuals with dementia extends to their families. It maintains communication with families to convey daily moments of success as well as updates on residents’ needs. The Together Offering Unconditional Compassion and Healing (T.O.U.C.H.) Caregiver Support groups help family members cope with loved ones’ memory care needs.

Owned and managed by Retirement Center Management, The Village of River Oaks provides beautiful independent, assisted living and memory care apartment homes. Residents have everything they need to Live Life Well.
