Rockets (5-1) update: The Rockets scored just 90 points, their fewest under Mike D’Antoni, in the meeting with Memphis last week at Toyota Center. The Rockets made just 41.6 percent of their shots in that game with 23.7 percent 3-point shooting. The Rockets led by 12 in the third quarter before scoring just 14 fourth-quarter points as Memphis finished on a 20-2 run. … The Grizzlies have won six of the teams’ past 10 meetings. … The Rockets won the second half of their only other back-to-back this season and went 13-3 in the second game when playing on consecutiv­e nights last season. … Center Nene (sore left Achilles) is expected to be a game-time decision. Grizzlies (4-1) update: The Grizzlies rebounded from their loss in Dallas, their first of the season, to beat the Mavericks in Memphis on Thursday, though Dallas rallied from a 22-point deficit to take a fourth-quarter lead. … Mike Conley is averaging 19.2 points in the teams’ past five meetings.
