Halloween and Día de los Muertos fall on a Tuesday this year, which means this is Halloween weekend 2017, which means this is a major party weekend.

Whether you want to join the parade of costumed revelers or ignore the annual rite, here are options for you — from a “monstrous” batch of margaritas to the opportunit­y to ride a camel. How often does that happen?

Día de los Muertos Festival

Annual Midtown Spookfest

Jewish Book & Arts Festival

Opening night features a seminar with actor/author Stephen Tobolowsky. The festival starts Sunday and continues through Nov. 12.
