Mary Delle Fitzgerald Kiser died peacefully on October 29, 2017 in Pearland, Texas at the age of 86. Mary was born in Harlingen, Texas on December 10, 1930 to parents James J. Fitzgerald and Rowena B. Smith Fitzgerald. She had very fond memories of growing up in the Rio Grande Valley and visiting Houston with the Fitzgerald and Hancock families. After graduating from Mercedes High School in 1948, she attended Lillie Jolly School of Nursing in Houston. Graduating in 1952, she worked in labor and delivery at Memorial Baptist Hospital in downtown Houston, then Memorial Southeast Hospital on Bellfort. Mary was a wife and mother. She was predecease­d by J.O.Kiser, Jr, her husband of 51 years in 2003. She was a proud mother, grandmothe­r and greatgrand­mother. She is survived by her six children, son John O. Kiser III, daughter Metta A. Kiser, sons James F. Kiser, Clyde D. Kiser, Colin L. Kiser and Travis S. Kiser. She is also survived by a daughterin-law, Rosemere Kiser, three grandsons -Ricardo M. Kiser, Zachary A. Kiser and Nathan A. Kiser, plus.one greatgrand­son Brenden T. Kiser. Mary was predecease­d by her sister Patricia R. Fitzgerald Henry and two grandchild­ren Corina and Stephen. The family wishes to express their appreciati­on to the staff at Autumn Leaves of Pearland and to the all the caregivers. Memorial donations can be made to the SPCA of Houston

Friends are cordially invited to gather with the family at Forest Park – Lawndale in Houston, on Friday November 3 at 11:30 AM, followed by graveside services at 12:30PM
