ALFRED HARRIS MOODY

1929-2017

Alfred Harris Moody was born in Manchester, New Hampshire in May of 1929 and passed away peacefully in his Houston home on 4 November 2017.

Al graduated from Kimball Union Academy boarding high school in Meriden, New Hampshire and Bentley College, a private university in Waltham, Massachusetts. He served in the US Army during the Korean conflict. Al retired from ExxonMobile Company in 1986 after 31 years of service.

Al was preceded in death by his wife Roberta. He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Richard Moody and Susan Hunter-Moody; his daughter Margery Forrest; his grandchildren Kayla Moody and Tyler Moody; and his sister Joan Shedd.

Memorial service for Al will be held in the chapel of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 5501 Main, in Houston, Texas on Wednesday, 15 November 2017 at 10:00 am.
