HUD ruling

Regarding “HUD ruling may block Harvey funds” (Page A1, Nov. 9), I didn’t need to turn the page for the continuation of the article about HUD to know that the report had something to do with the proposed low-income housing complex in the Galleria.

It seems to me that the Department of Housing and Urban Development just cannot get over the fact that a mayor of a major American city would reject its proposal. To say the decision had to do with racism is just preposterous. It all boils down to sour grapes. Nancy Reese, Houston
