Serious allegations

Houston Chronicle - - WORLD | FROM THE COVER -

Regarding “Republicans divided over Moore allegations” (Page A11, Saturday), it’s puzzling to read the reactions of people when they talk about the allegations that Alabama senatorial candidate Roy Moore is facing.

Moore’s defenders seem to feel that since there wasn’t sexual intercourse and insist he’s a good man the stories amount to nothing. The Washington insiders want no part of him or his baggage.

Considering that this is someone who, as a judge, disobeyed a federal court order and pushed other judges to go against a U.S. Supreme Court decision, he shouldn’t even be in this race.
