Doc Popcorn location to open in Pearland

Doc Popcorn is opening in Pearland Town Center, 11200 Broadway. Franchisees Rob and Jean McLean will celebrate with free popcorn from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday.

The entrepreneurs, who have operated Doc Popcorn stores since 2010, closed their Baybrook Mall Doc Popcorn kiosk in August.

Doc Popcorn has more than 100 locations worldwide.

The Pearland store is one of four area mall locations, along with Memorial City Mall, Katy Mills and First Colony Mall.
