JOSEPH “JOE” HALEY

1937-2017

Joseph Arnold “Joe” Haley, 80, passed away November 12, 2017 in Nassau Bay, TX. He was born July 30, 1937 in Ashland, VA to Nancy and Joseph Boyd Haley. Joseph graduated from Randolph Macon College, and earned his PhD in Mathematics at the University of Virginia. He taught mathematics at Queens College in New York, and then worked for most of his career as a software engineer in the oil and aerospace industries in Pittsburgh, Washington DC, and Houston, TX. Joseph was a sweet, gentle, intelligent man and will be greatly missed by his wife Margaret Salvato Haley, and his two children Wendy and Michael Haley. A memorial service will be held 6pm Friday November 17 at Crowder Funeral Home 111 E Medical Center Blvd, Webster, TX 77598.
