Mar advances at Mid-Amateur

Marissa Mar won two matches in come-frombehind fashion to advance to the quarterfinal round of the U.S. Women’s MidAmateur Championship on the Cypress Creek Course at Champions Golf Club.

Mar, the championship’s No. 3 seed, rallied to beat Leigh Klasse in 20 holes and defending champ Julia Potter ,1up.
