Parkway Place residents give thanks, share joy
For Houston, this holiday season brings more than usual for which to give thanks. As the city enters a season of family, friends and thanksgiving, many are reflecting on a year that has gone from the highs of the Super Bowl to the lows of Hurricane Harvey. It’s times like these that make gratitude — and kindness — even more important.
Gratitude brings joy to both the giver and the receiver. As the adage goes, “Live from a place of abundance, not of scarcity.”
Residents at Parkway Place, a Buckner senior living community in the heart of Houston’s Energy Corridor, experience this joy every day as they share their lives with one another.
