Treemont offers benefits to residents as Continuing Care Retirement Campus
Seniors are often motivated to move to a retirement community to benefit from more amenities (meals, housekeeping and transportation) and a more social living environment.
Residents love “maintenance-free living,” having three meals prepared daily, plus weekly housekeeping and the ability to be chauffeured to doctor’s appointments. There are also activities and entertainment to make for a more social living experience than living alone in one’s home.
Another important consideration when choosing a senior living residence are extra care services that can be available in the event of a health setback.
One of the key benefits of Treemont is that it is a Continuing Care Retirement Campus (CCRC). There are Independent, Assisted Living, Nursing and Rehab, and Home Health Care (Senior Allegiance) — all on the same campus. Your address does not have to change if your care needs do.
Many Treemont Independent Living residents go to the hospital after a fall or a medical issue and recuperate in the Treemont nursing and rehab center. Treemont is known for its outstanding rehab program, with a reputation for getting residents the physical therapy they need to return to their Independent Living apartment.
Treemont also has a Home Care company on campus, which helps seniors stay independent in their own apartment longer, with help with medication management, a bath, getting dressed in the morning or other care needs. This is what Treemont calls “Independence Plus” — independent living with a helping hand. Treemont also has more traditional assisted living available in its Health Care Center.
