New England placed tight end Martellus Bennett and special teamer Nate Ebner on injured reserve. For Bennett, the move comes less than a month after the Patriots picked him up off waivers after he was cut by Green Bay. Bennett was released by the Packers on Nov. 8 for “failing to disclose a physical condition” that had to do with his shoulder. Ebner injured his knee on a fake punt run in the first quarter of the Patriots’ victory over Miami. … Denver quarterback Paxton Lynch will miss two to four weeks with a high right ankle sprain suffered in the second half of Sunday’s loss at Oakland. So, it is back to Trevor Siemian, who started the season for the Broncos but was benched a month ago in favor of Brock Osweiler, who was supplanted last week by Lynch. … Detroit placed safety Tavon Wilson on injured reserve with a shoulder problem. Wilson has started 23 games over the last two seasons. … The New York Giants placed four more players on injured reserve, increasing their total of players out for the season to 19. In addition to putting offensive lineman D.J. Fluker (toe), cornerback Donte Deayon (forearm), and linebackers Curtis Grant (knee) and Deontae Skinner (hamstring) on IR — the Giants have six linebackers on the list — the team was awarded linebacker RayRay Armstrong off waivers from San Francisco. New York also signed free agent linebacker Jeremy Cash. … Oakland receiver Michael Crabtree and Denver cornerback Aqib Talib were suspended two games each without pay for fighting during the Raiders’ 21-14 victory on Sunday. Both players can appeal the suspensions.
