Leonard Charles Grigar, 81, of Fairchilds, Texas, passed away on December 8, 2017. He was born March 10, 1936 in Richmond, Texas to Kenneth John Grigar and Martha (Polak) Grigar. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in May of 1965. Leonard worked for HL & P, retiring as a Supervisor after 36 years of employment. Leonard had many hobbies which included: wood working, hunting, fishing and barbequing. He could often be found outside tending to his garden. This loving husband, father, grandfathe­r, brother, uncle and friend will be missed.

In addition to his parents, Leonard is preceded in death by his sister, Irene Bradford and her husband, O.C. Bradford and brother-in-law, George Henry Bernshause­n.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Donna (Holland) Grigar; son, Robert Grigar and wife, Danette; daughter, Jenny Hensley and husband, Tony; sister, Evelyn Bernshause­n; nieces and nephews, Joyce & Carl Tullos, Betty and Denny Morgan, Donald Bradford, Jeff and Rhonda Bradford, Cheryl and Mike Wehring, Brad and Kim Bernshause­n and their families; along with extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2017 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. The burial with military honors will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
