Rosamond Marie Davison, age 90, passed away in her home on a snowy day in Houston Texas on December 7, 2017. Rosamond was born on October 21, 1927 in Rochester, Minnesota to Matthew Feltes and Katherine Barbara Hoffman. Rosamond graduated as valedictor­ian from St. Charles High School and then received a Bachelors and Masters degree from St. Mary’s College Notre Dame and the University of Washington. Prior to retiring, she worked for the Alief School District as an associate school psychiatri­st.

She is survived by her husband Thomas Milton Davison of Houston, TX; and her children from her first marriage to Earnest E. Downum : Edward E. Downum of Seattle, WA; Celeste Marie Downum of Houston, TX; and Andrea Rose Brotherton of Dobbin, TX.

She was predecease­d by her only sibling, Robert Feltes and her daughter Katherine Ann Lindquist.

Rosamond loved the arts, good wine, cats, mysteries, traveling and laughing with friends and family. She was a truly kind and loving woman, a gracious hostess and always volunteere­d to help others. A warm smile and a friendly hello was shared with everyone she met. She will always be in our hearts and our memories.

Services will be held at Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church 6800 Buffalo Speedway Houston Texas 77025 on Wednesday December 13, 2017 at 10:00 am. Those wishing to are welcome to make a donation in her memory to the ASPCA, The Nature Conservanc­y or charity of your choice.
