SHIRLEY LEE (MULHOLLAN) JOHNSON BOYD

1934-2017

Shirley Lee Mulhollan Johnson Boyd, 83, took her last breath on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at her home in Alvin, Texas. Born in Houston to Osborn and Mabel Kelly Mulhollan, she graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1953 and was a professional secretary and office manager for several Houston companies through her career in freight forwarding, shipping, and accounting. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Lee Johnson, brother John Bradley Mulhollan and brother in law, James Warren Johnson. She is survived by her husband, William Jasper Boyd, her children Robert Lee Johnson of Singapore, James Richard Johnson and wife Jennifer of Houston, Sharon Dawn Tucker and husband Randall of Alvin, John Brent Johnson of Beaumont and step children Pamela Sullivan and husband William of High Point, North Carolina and Randy Boyd and wife, Kristie of Raleigh, North Carolina, grandchildren, Stephen Johnson, John Tucker, Elisabeth Johnson-Brinkman, James Johnson, Jade Johnson, Kristen Sullivan, Kyle Sullivan, Jessica Boyd and Kayla Boyd and great grandchildren Devon McCue and Connor Tucker. Shirley is also survived by sisters in law, Marjorie Johnson Bridges and Evelyn Mulhollan, nieces and nephews. Family will visit with friends 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Saturday, January 6, 2018 at South Park Funeral Home, Pearland, Texas, with Funeral Services to follow at 1:00 PM in the South Park Chapel. The family would like to extend our gratitude to the Doctors and Staff of Houston Pulmonary Medicine, the Nurses of Memorial Hermann Southeast ICU and especially the wonderful staff and nurses of LT Home Health Care, who provided such loving care.
