Tamra Hissom Budd of Houston, Texas passed on to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, the 5th of January 2018, after a hard fought battle against cancer.

She was a member of Second Baptist Church since 1992. Tami loved her family, extended family, her dogs, and when her health permitted often played tennis five days a week. After being diagnosed with Lung Cancer (as a non-smoker) she became very active with Lung Cancer Alliance, supporting their annual lung walk in Houston and started a Tennis Tournament to raise awareness and funds for LCA. Tami had an infectious smile and was described by many as: amazing woman, full of life, brave, kind heart, beautiful, and a blessing to know.

She was preceded in passing by her father, Ronnie J Hissom and her mother, Gwen D. Sharp. She is survived by her husband, Keith W. Budd; son Cooper Hissom Budd; her step daughter Kimberly Budd Ryan and her husband Mark Ryan. Her grandchild­ren Kate Ryan and Carson Ryan referred to her as GT. She is also survived by her brother Robert Hissom, and sisters: Caroline Hissom Wallace, Julia Hissom Elkayam , Alexandra Hissom-Buell. She was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is to be conducted at eleven o’clock in the morning on Thursday, the 11th of January, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
