KEVIN DAVID SHANNON

1961-2018

Kevin David Shannon, 56, of Galveston, Texas passed away on Wednesday January 24, 2018. Kevin was born December 11, 1961 in New York City and grew up in Medfield, Massachusetts.

Kevin attended Medfield High School and then attended Boston Conservatory of Music and Franklin Institute.

Kevin had a long career in plant operations/hospital facilities management, a career he cherished and was very passionate about. He was outgoing, well-liked, and he brought a sense of humor to the job and for those he encountered along the way.

Kevin also had a passion for fresh-water fishing and would occasionally dust off his cello to play for family and friends.

Kevin is survived by mother, Rosemarie Shannon; children Kyle Matthew Shannon and Kelsey Nicole Shannon; brothers Thomas Shannon, John Shannon, and Scott Shannon; and sisters Coleen Shannon and Carrie Jeffers. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Kevin will be held Friday, January 26, 2018 from 6:00 to 7:00 PMat Forest Park - The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77384. A reception will immediately follow from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
