Rockets at Pelicans 1

When: 7 p.m. Friday. TV: ATTSW, ESPN. After beating the Warriors on national television last Saturday night, the Rockets will appear on ESPN (also locally on ATTSW) against New Orleans. The Rockets also play Phoenix at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Toyota Center on ATTSW. Celtics at Warriors 2 When: 7:30 p.m. Saturday. TV: ABC. Golden State returns to the national stage for week two of the network’s weekend primetime games. This game matches the Warriors, No. 1 in the West, and Boston, No. 1 in the East.

NFL Pro Bowl 3

When: 2 p.m. Sunday. TV: ESPN, ABC. With their two members of the AFC team, DeAndre Hopkins and Jadeveon Clowney injured, the Texans aren’t represente­d this year in Orlando for the kickoff to a week of hype for the Feb. 4 Super Bowl. Australian Open 4 When: 2:30 a.m. Friday (women); 2:30 a.m. Saturday (men). TV: ESPN, ESPN2 (replay). No U.S. players reached as far as the semifinals in tennis’ first Grand Slam tournament of the year. The women’s final is scheduled for early Friday, the men’s for early Saturday.

Farmer’s Insurance Open 5

When: Through Sunday. TV: Golf (Friday), NBC (Saturday-Sunday). Jon Rahm, who won last weekend at LaQuinta, is the favorite at Torrey Pines as the defending champion. But most of the buzz will be around the return to the PGA Tour of Tiger Woods.

Virginia at Duke men 6

When: 1 p.m. Saturday. TV: CBS. As we near February Madness, when college basketball teams are scrambling for NCAA Tournament berths, two teams already most certainly in, the No. 2 Cavaliers and the No. 4 Blue Devils, meet in the game of the week.

Texas A&M at Kansas men 7

When: 3:30 p.m. Sunday. TV: ESPN. In one of the best of this weekend’s Big 12SEC Challenge games, the Aggies, who are still dangerous despite their disappoint­ing start in conference play, face the No. 5 Jayhawks, who have proven surprising­ly vulnerable in their rugged conference. Baylor at West Virginia women 8 When: 2 p.m. Sunday. TV: FS1. This game is the highlight of the women’s schedule this weekend as the No. 3 Lady Bears travel to face the No. 20 Mountainee­rs.

Senior Bowl 9

When: 1:30 p.m. Saturday. TV: NFL Network. This college football all-star game provides an opportunit­y to see three quality QBs in Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield, Wyoming’s Josh Allen and Washington State’s Luke Falk. Unfortunat­ely, they’re on the same team and will split time. Pure Silk LPGA Classic 10 When: Friday-Sunday. TV: Golf. The women’s tour starts its new season in the Bahamas. Brittany Lincicome won last year on the first playoff hole over Lexi Thompson.
