Peter Evans Pratt, Jr. “Pito” 1963- 2018 Peter Evans Pratt, Jr., 54, father, brother, son, uncle and friend, died suddenly on Friday, February 2, 2018. Peter was born July 15, 1963, to Peter Evans Pratt (deceased) and Anne Winterbotham Pratt. Pito attended Pooh Corner, Awty International School, and graduated from the Kinkaid School. Pito went on to the University of Texas and graduated in 1986, where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. From UT he went on to earn a degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law with a JD.

Pito’s world was his three beloved children, Charles Fletcher Pratt, Shreve Stewart Pratt, and Alexis Grace Pratt. He was a great conversationalist and counsel for all of his children. His comforting nature will be one of the his most missed traits. Always the loudest voice in the room, he was passionate about many things, especially his comic book collection.

Pito loved being an attorney, and several of his happiest times were had while working towards his many professional achievements. He worked diligently and painstakingly to build a practice that made his children proud of him.

In the past several years, he had enjoyed spending time in Cloudcroft, New Mexico and looked forward to having his children join him when time allowed. When in Houston he could be found keeping his favorite brother, Jody Pratt, company and entertaining the whole house.

Pito is survived by his children, mother, brother, mother of his children, Catherine Pratt, brother-in-law, Jeb Bashaw, his nephew, Travis Bashaw, and niece, Mason Clelland and her husband, Lane Clelland. He was preceded in death by his dad, Peter, grandparents Alice and Fletcher Pratt, grandparents John and Wandy Winterbotham, and his beloved brother Scott Pratt and sister Kim Bashaw. He also leaves behind his favorite pets, Spotz McKenzie and Sasha, both of whom brought a smile to his face.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial service February 6, 2018 at 2p.m at St. John the Divine Episcopal Church, 2450 River Oaks Blvd, Houston, TX 77019. Following the service, the family will receive friends in the adjacent Sumners Hall. There will be a private subsequent interment at Galveston Memorial Park in Hitchcock at a later date.
