It is with great sadness that the family of Dorothy G. Radford (Momo) announce the passing of one of the greatest wife, mother, grandmothe­r, great grandmothe­r, and friend who was and is still loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Dorothy passed away on Friday, February 23,2018 in Houston, Texas with family by her side. She lived a long and wonderful life of 95 years.

Dorothy was born on September 13, 1922 in Bowie, Texas to Anna and Henry Husfeld. She graduated from high school and attended business college. Then met Julien T. Radford during World War II and married him on January 25, 1943. They had four children and raised them in a christian environmen­t. Dorothy was a true follower of Jesus Christ. She was an extraordin­ary homemaker with many talents of cooking, sewing, and gardening. One of her favorite hobbies was growing daylilies. She loved playing checkers and dominoes with her grandchild­ren and great grandchild­ren. Dorothy was a strong, kind hearted woman. Being “Mama” and opening her home to many people over the years.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Julien T. Radford and daughter, Sandra Lee. She is survived by her children, daughter Sharon Budzise, sons, Robert Radford, Ronald Radford, daughter-in-law, Marga Radford, and son-in-law, Jinx Lee. Grandchild­ren and their spouses, Sheila M. Budzise, Teresa and Randy Lee, Christophe­r Budzise, Tina and Tim Weaver, Monica Lee, Melissa Lee, Tracy and Jim McCormack. Great grandchild­ren, Austin Lee, Preston Lee, Ethan Weaver, Jade Dominguez, Jace Lee, and Carter Dobbins along with many more relatives and friends.

Visitation is March 2, 2018 from 5:00pm-8:00pm. Funeral service is March 3, 2018 at 2:00pm. Both are at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. The address is 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas 77060.
