Rose Mary Tarrant Molina, 82, of Anderson, died Saturday morning, March 10, 2018, at her home with her loving family by her side.

Calling hours will be held from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Lindley-Robertson-Holt Funeral Home of Navasota. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 5:30 to 7:00 pm Thursday, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 1511 Hwy 90 S. in Anderson. A parish rosary led by her daughter, Rosanna, will conclude the evening at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 am Friday, March 16, 2018, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with Rev. Elias Lopez as the celebrant. The rite of committal will follow in St. Stanislaus’s Church Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearer­s will be Robert W. Frazier, Russell Molina, Robert George Molina, Lee Johnson, Tony Kaldis and Bill Inman. Named as honorary pallbearer­s are Jay Groppe, Hans Groppe, Ben Sarabia, Henry Hirtz and John Towler.

Rose Mary was born Tuesday, September 10, 1935 in Des Moines, Iowa to Robert Claire and Freda Myers Tarrant. In 1954 she moved to Houston to enroll at the University of Houston. It was there that she met and fell in love with Raul R. Molina, Jr. and they were married on February 13, 1955 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in downtown Houston.

While raising 5 children, Rose Mary worked at Fran Spears and Associates Interior Design Firm. Once the children were grown, she joined her husband and went to work full time as an accountant for the family business, Molina’s Mexican Restaurant­s.

In 2001, they retired to their ranch in Anderson where they raise Angus cattle. Rose Mary was an active member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church serving in the Altar Society and the Choir. She was an avid lover of nature and all creatures great and small. Rose Mary was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Raul Molina, Jr; children, Raul Molina, III and wife Katie, Rosanna Molina, Ricardo Molina and wife Amy, Roberto Molina and wife Erica and Rose Mary Molina, Jr; a sister, Carol Groppe and husband Henry; grandchild­ren, Robert W. Frazier, Raul “Remy Molina, IV, Mary Molina, Anthony Molina, Graciela Molina and Adriana Molina along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and lifelong friends.
