IOC suspends pay to Biathlon Union

The wife of Ottawa Senators captain Erik Karlsson has filed an order of protection against the girlfriend of one of Karlsson’s teammates. Melinda Karlsson alleges harassment and cyberbullying. In an application for a peace bond, she says Monika Caryk posted hundreds of derogatory online messages aimed at her and her husband, a star player for the Senators. Caryk is a partner of Senators forward Mike Hoffman, who denies the allegations. …

Jordan Scott, the alltime leading rusher in Colgate history, died while on vacation in Thailand, officials confirmed. The 31-year-old had gone missing Friday after jumping into water near a dam south of Bangkok. Scott rushed for 5,621 yards on 1,240 attempts, before graduating in 2009.
