Calcasieu Lake — Guide Kirk Stansel of HR&G reported good catches of trout and redfish on soft plastics and topwaters. Calm days have allowed for fishing the nearshore rigs for trout.

Galveston — Guide Jamie Pinter reported limits of trout while drifting with Down South Lures. Sharks along the beach have been reliable as well.

Matagorda — Guide Tommy Alexander reported limits of trout while drifting. Kendall Kersh reported limits on soft plastics.

Palacios — Guide Ray Sexton reported trout to 6 pounds while wading. Redfish are fair along the shorelines.
