Thomas Reed was a World War II Veteran. He joined the army when he was 17 and was assigned to Scofield Barracks, Pearl Harbor. He was there on the 7th of December 1941. After the Declaration of war, the young enlisted man was returned to the US for officer’s training. He served under General Patton as an Infantry captain at the Battle of the Bulge. He worked in the professional business services. After a brief retirement he became a consultant to Bradley S. Klein owner of Building Professionals of Texas. Mr. Klein became one of Mr. Reed’s most admired and favorite people.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Charlene Ryan Reed, and his son-in-law, Allen Stockslager. Within days of his wife’s death, Mr. Reed got a cat he named Kitty Cat. She was his constant companion until March of 2018 when she passed away.

The family would like to thank The Idaho State Veterans Home, Boise, Idaho, for their compassionate and loving care.
