John Alan Blasingame, 63, passed Aug. 6 in Houston, TX. He was born April 19,1955 in Lubbock, TX to George Blasingame and the late Goldie Blasingame. He is survived by his wife, Diane, children John Eric, Tanya, and Lindsey Blasingame, grandchildren Kailynn and Ansley Blasingame, siblings Chad Blasingame, Daphne Connell, Tanya Davis, and Kim Holt, and numerous nieces and nephews. He worked many years in the Houston oil industry as a procurement specialist. He enjoyed time at the deer lease with friends, attending concerts, and especially following Astros baseball. Visitation will be 5-8 PM, Aug. 10 at Cypress-Fairbanks Funeral Home; a graveside service will be held at 2 PM Aug. 11 at Carmen Nelson Bostick Cemetery in Tomball, TX
