Marcus Fannin Jeffrey, 83, of Houston, passed away August 12, 2018 in Katy. He was born in Apple Springs, Texas on December 7, 1934, to Charlie and Vada Noel. Marcus met his future wife, Betty in elementary school and they were inseparabl­e, they eventually married right after high school at age 19. Marcus served in the army from 1953 to 1956. While he was in the Army they were stationed in many places, including Alaska. When he got out of the Army he worked at the paper mill in Lufkin, he later worked at Fluor as an electrical Engineer. During this time Marcus also joined the Masons and was a member for over 50 years.Marcus is proceeded in death by, Sons; Mark and Drew Jeffrey, Granddaugh­ter; Amber Jeffrey, Parents; Vada and Charlie Noel, Brother; Troy Jeffrey, and Sister; Martha Hendricks. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Betty Jeffrey, Son and Daughter-Law, Scott and Amy Jeffrey, Daughter and Son-in-Law; Leigh and Juan Peraza, Grandchild­ren; Adam and Aaron Jeffrey, Marcus Jeffrey, Andrew and Lauren Peraza. He is also survived by his cat, Tiger. The family will be accepting friends and relatives for the visitation from 5:00p.m. -8:00p.m, August 14, 2018, at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home, 12555 S Kirkwood, Stafford, TX 77477. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., August 15, 2018, in the Earthman Southwest Home Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the Gann Cemetery, 7433 US 69, Pollok, TX 75969.
