OAKLAND, Calif. — Light-hitting Dee Gordon homered off Yusmeiro Petit in the 12th inning to break a scoreless tie, and the Seattle Mariners beat the Oakland Athletics 2-0 on Wednesday to avoid a threegame sweep.
