Rockets (0-1) update: They went 3-1 against the Lakers last season and have won 18 of the past 24 meetings, including six of their past seven games against the Lakers in Los Angeles. … The Rockets allowed more points, 131, and more points in the paint, 76, in their season opener than in any game last season. …P.J. Tucker’s 19 points against the Pelicans were the second most he has scored with the Rockets, having scored 20 in last season’s opener. … Center Clint Capela led the NBA in field-goal percentage last season, but made four of nine shots in the season opener after shooting 45.5 percent in the preseason. … James Harden scored at least 20 points in 69 of his 72 games played last season, but had 18 in the season opener.
