Roderigo “Henry” Flores, 88, was born on November 25, 1929 in San Antonio, Texas to Rodrigo & Amelia Flores and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 20, 2018 at his residence in Houston, Texas. Roderigo was a loving husband, father, grandfathe­r, and friend; a dedicated hard working man whose family always came first. He was firm and fair, but not when it came to his grandchild­ren. Roderigo was a proud Veteran of The U.S. Air Force, business owner of Flores Motors, Co. Inc.; undefeated Golden Gloves Boxer and Race Car Driver. He enjoyed keeping journals and was politicall­y active for the benefit of his people. Roderigo was preceded in death by his parents; by his son, Mario Flores; also by his brothers, Rudolfo “Rudy” Flores, Rogelio Flores, and Roy Flores. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife of 68 years of marriage, Carmen Flores; his sons, Henry Flores & wife Patricia, Louis Flores & wife Brenda, and Richard Flores; his daughters, Eva Flores Reyna & husband John and Nora Flores Peña & husband George; his sisters, Evangelina Flores and Amelia Flores Robles; his grandchild­ren, Melissa, Pam, Nicholas, Stephanie, Samantha, Richard Andrew, Dominic, Michael, Jessica, Matthew, and Jennifer; his great grandchild­ren, D.J., Isabella, Jordan, and Lakeland; also many other relatives and friends. Henry will be dearly missed by all those that were touched by his love.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 5pm to 9pm with a Vigil Service at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 10am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery with full Military Honors.
